Skalanews - Vice Chairman and Legislation-Invitation of Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Ikhsan Abdullah said that some of the actions taken by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) supporters have been radical.

According to Ikhsan, as the defendant, Ahok has actually shown good legal behavior towards the court's decision to accept and conduct resistance according to the corridor.

"Ahok as we seen here, we see he is a good example in order to obey the law, we see how the 22 trials all attended by him and without being absent, who can not attend is the judge at the other day, it shows how high the legal culture built that is shown by Mr. Ahok as the defendant at that time," said Ikhsan in the dialogue 'Dramaturgi Ahok' in Cikini, Central Jakarta, Saturday (13/5).

But ironically, Ahok's supporters are overreacting in rejecting a two-year sentence imposed by North Jakarta District Court. It's like staging action in various places.

"There is a phenomenon of radicalism by Ahok's supporters, how they conduct a disobedient demonstration against Mr. Basuki himself, how they demo until late at night, until 12 at night light candles everywhere, how they commit violence, " Ikhsan said.

Ikhsan exemplified, the action to send a flower board is very good and beautiful to see. But to be bad because in the flower board there is a tucked messages.

"I want to say, we just let it go, no more efforts that disturb the stability of the nation, I think, I also  support the country apart in this case the Police to do persuasive action so no more lighting candles everywhere, because if 100 People light candles everywhere, the big will turn on too, if 1000 candles rivaled 1 million it will be burned later," he concluded.
