122 Foreigners were Evacuated from Palu and Donggala

Skalanews - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) recorded as much 122 foreign nationals (WNA) have been successfully evacuated outside the Palu and Donggala region, Central Sulawesi after the earthquake and tsunami.

It was said by the Head of the Information Data and Public Relations Center of BNPB Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, out of 122 foreigners, as many as 120 people were identified while the other 2 people were unknown.

"Two people who have not been known come from Korea and Belgium," Sutopo said at a press conference at the Kominfo building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (2/10).

Sutopo continued, there were 2 Thais who did not want to be evacuated for personal reasons.

"There are 2 Thais from a total of 30 people who do not want to be evacuated who for personal reasons remain in Donggala and Palu. We cannot be forced to," he continued

While BNPB noted that as of Tuesday (2/10/2018) afternoon as many as 1234 people died as a result of the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Central Sulawesi, on Friday (28/9). (Frida Astuti/bus)
