Prabowo: If We Are in Power, Food is Available at Affordable Prices

Skalanews - Candidate for president number 02 Prabowo Subianto got his first turn to deliver the vision and mission in particular related Infrastructure, Food, Energy, Natural Resources and Environment issues in the second round of the 2019 Presidential Election debate.

In his statement, Prabowo said that the problems of Infrastructure, Food, Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment are the main issues facing the nation and state.

"We must stand on our own feet, we must be self-sufficient in food, self-sufficient in energy, self-sufficient in water,so that we can survive as a nation," Prabowo said when describing his vision and mission during the debate at The Sultan Hotel, around 19.25 WIB, Sunday (17/2) yesterday

Prabowo added The United Nations benchmark for the success of a country including being successful if it fulfills food for the people, energy for the people and water without imports.

"We, if we are in power, Insyallah can get a mandate from the people. We will guarantee that food is available at affordable prices for all Indonesian people and we will guarantee that producers, farmers, fishers must receive adequate income. That is our commitment," said Prabowo

"We will also immediately reduce the price of electricity, the price of staple foods and we will also prepare the fertilizer in the amount is needed. We will deliver it to the farmers. This is our commitment. We believe Indonesia can stand on our own feet, we will secure "All Indonesian economic resources, we will secure the coffers of the Indonesian people so that Indonesia's wealth will not flow abroad," he continued

Nevertheless Prabowo also appreciates the achievements of Joko Widodo's government, especially in infrastructure development.

"I appreciate what Mr. Jokowi has done in the field of infrastructure has worked hard, but this is democracy. I offer a strategy that will more quickly bring prosperity to justice for all Indonesian people," he concluded. (Frida Astuti/bus)
